jam issues

from this lunch i gathered that kat does not like boysenberry jam.  live and learn. (too bad though, the stars looked so nice..)

field trip lunch

i am surprised she didn't eat of this lunch - walking in the woods usually gets up an appetite.  but she said she ran out of time.

menu: turkey on rye, cheerio crispie square, pretzels, strawberries, grapes, juice, corn, snap peas

beginning of another week

i can't believe kat didn't eat her animal crackers..  who doesn't like animal crackers?

the after lunch part of this got thrown away accidentally (i had a wedding to attend and wasn't here when kat came home).  but i hear it was well eaten for the most part..

forgotten

this was the day that kat forgot her lunchbox at school.  a hiccup i had not anticipated.  but i kept my chin up ;)

a new week

a well received lunch.  she pretty much hoovered the whole thing back.

day two and i already have forgotten...

..to take a picture of the after part of lunch.  kat brought her lunch box home, and i took it in the kitchen and set out her box to take an after pic, then i got distracted by something and when i came back in the kitchen i promptly threw away the contents without taking a photo. not an auspicious beginning..

*also i got busted for putting candy in her lunch - a hershey's kiss.  this is a no-no at her new school.

back to lunch

the first day back to school after a long summer off..

i have decided to switch it up a bit this year - i can't promise it will be every single day and i can't promise to have both before and after pictures..  but i will try.
